About the William Booth Legal Aid Clinic
Founded in 1994 by Robert and Ellen Dickman, WBLAC is the only Salvation Army-run free legal aid clinic in the world. Initially established to assist individuals in Salvation Army treatment programs, the clinic has expanded its services to the broader community, resolving over 30,000 legal issues related to homelessness, domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, consumer advocacy, and veterans’ legal concerns.
